Matthew J. Barber focuses his legal career on personal injury litigation, representing individuals involved in car and truck collisions, motorcycle crashes, and general liability cases. Matthew earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2013. He completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of St. Thomas in 2010, building a foundation in analytical thinking that complements his approach to legal advocacy and case preparation.

Since beginning his legal career, Matthew has built a reputation for his dedication to client service and achieving favorable results. His background working as an office assistant prior to becoming a lawyer has given him unique insight into all aspects of case management and client needs, strengthening his litigation skills.

Licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota, Matthew is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota. He is an active member of the North Dakota State Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the Judge Bruce M. Van Sickle American Inn of Court.

Recognized for his outstanding work, Matthew J. Barber was named a Minnesota Lawyer Attorney of the Year in 2017. He also contributes to the profession through his service on the Minnesota Rules of Civil Appellate Procedure Advisory Committee, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of legal practice.
