Matthew J. Ball

Matthew J. Ball is a shareholder in the commercial litigation group at Parr Brown. He represents clients across many industries in complex disputes. His practice focuses on contract disputes, construction matters, real estate litigation, and employment issues in both federal and state courts.

Matthew earned a J.D. in 2002 from the University of Utah, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team, a Traynor Moot Court Competition finalist, and a Note and Comment Editor. He also earned a B.S. in Geography in 1999.

Matthew has extensive experience handling breaches of contract and commercial disputes. He prosecutes and defends cases in both state and federal courts and has tried and argued matters at the trial and appellate levels. His work covers construction defects, business torts, securities matters, and disputes involving control of companies.

Matthew works closely with clients in the construction industry. He helps them pursue and secure payment, resolve title issues, and address boundary disputes. He also represents commercial landlords in lease disputes and provides guidance on real estate matters involving ownership and use of property.
