About
Matthew Greig is a VA-accredited attorney whose legal work is deeply shaped by his military background and dedication to injured individuals. His focus includes veterans’ disability benefits, personal injury cases, dangerous drug and device claims, and workers’ compensation. He approaches every case with practical insight and a strong sense of purpose.
Matthew first earned a B.S. in Political Science from Millsaps College, followed by a J.D. from LSU Law School. This academic training prepared him to navigate complex legal systems and serve clients, particularly veterans, who face difficulties in accessing benefits they are entitled to.
Matthew started his legal path in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. While serving with the XVIII Airborne Corps, he provided legal support on family, estate, and tax matters. His overseas deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan involved advising commanders and coalition forces during key military operations.
Matthew later moved into private practice at a global law firm in New Orleans, but his commitment to veterans remained strong. He played a leadership role at VFW Post 8973 and worked to raise funds for restoring the historic PT-305 through the National World War II Museum’s Young Benefactors Committee.
Matthew eventually launched his own practice to serve better veterans, especially those struggling with denied VA claims. Drawing from his military service, he understands the obstacles veterans encounter and works to help them navigate complex claim procedures to secure their rightful benefits.
Matthew Greig combines real-world military insight with sharp legal skills in his fight for clients’ rights. Licensed in Louisiana and recognized for his service during overseas deployments, he brings credibility and dedication to every case. His unwavering focus on veterans and the injured makes him a powerful advocate for those seeking justice and fair treatment under the law.
