Matthew B. Reeves is a seasoned litigator and transactional attorney based in Butler Snow’s Huntsville office. Known for his innovative approach, he handles high-stakes legal matters involving commercial litigation, correctional law, intellectual property, and real estate development, serving clients across various industries and jurisdictions.

Matt earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he was Senior Articles Editor for the Energy Law Journal and Treasurer of the Student Bar Association. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University, equipping him with a strong foundation in both law and business strategy.

With bar admissions in Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, and Tennessee, Matt litigates in state and federal courts nationwide. He is admitted to multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. His diverse litigation background includes matters such as prison conditions, cross-border insolvency, government contracts, construction disputes, and intellectual property infringement.
