Matt Tourtlotte

Matt Tourtlotte is a seasoned Montana lawyer with more than two decades of experience investigating, evaluating, and litigating complex personal injury cases. Mr. Tourtlotte earned his B.A. from Gonzaga University in 1995 before obtaining his J.D. from the University of Montana in 1999. Licensed to practice in Montana state courts, he is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In addition, he has appeared in courts outside Montana through “pro hac vice” admission, further extending his reach in representing clients across jurisdictions.

In 2014, Mr. Tourtlotte left a comfortable law firm partnership to devote his practice exclusively to advocating for injury victims. His decision marked a shift toward client-centered representation, enabling him to focus his energy on achieving life-changing results. Over the past decade, he has recovered significant compensation for clients in personal injury, wrongful death, workers’ compensation, insurance bad faith, and elder abuse cases in both state and federal courts.
