About
Andrew J. (“A.J.”) Miller is a partner at Miller Tourtlotte Law, PLLC, where he focuses his practice on personal injury, workers’ compensation, and bad faith insurance cases. A Billings native, he brings both local roots and extensive legal experience to his work. He is dedicated to protecting the rights of injured individuals and holding insurance companies accountable, ensuring clients receive justice and fair compensation.
A.J. Miller earned both his undergraduate degree in English Literature and his J.D. from the University of Montana. While in law school, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Gregory Todd of the Thirteenth Judicial District. He then began his career in insurance and civil litigation as a defense attorney at the Brown Law Firm P.C., where he gained firsthand knowledge of defense strategies that now benefit his injured clients.
In 2015, Mr. Miller shifted his practice exclusively to representing plaintiffs, joining a firm that eventually became Odegaard Miller Law. There, he strengthened his trial skills and deepened his commitment to advocating for those harmed by negligence or workplace accidents. In 2024, he partnered with Matt Tourtlotte to form Miller Tourtlotte Law, PLLC, uniting their experience and dedication to build a practice devoted to serving Montana injury victims.
Outside his legal work, A.J. Miller is also a dedicated community leader. He has served on the board of Billings Catholic Schools and currently serves on the boards of the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools and Art House Billings. His community service reflects the same commitment to fairness and accountability that defines his legal work, demonstrating his dedication to improving the lives of individuals and families throughout the Billings region.
