Mark S. Davis

Mark S. Davis is the founding partner of Davis Levin Livingston and one of Hawaii’s most accomplished and respected trial attorneys. For over 50 years, he has dedicated his practice to representing plaintiffs in personal injury, civil rights, medical malpractice, and class action cases across all the Hawaiian Islands.

Mark earned his Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in 1974, where he served as Associate Topics Editor of the Urban Law Annual. His earlier academic achievements include a B.A. cum laude in Political Science from Tulane University and international study at Southampton University in England. He was admitted to the Hawaii Bar in 1974 and is licensed before the U.S. Supreme Court and several federal courts.

A nationally recognized litigator, Mark is the only Hawaii attorney admitted to The Inner Circle of Advocates, an exclusive group of the top 100 plaintiff trial lawyers in the United States. His firm holds the record for the highest federal tort judgment, state settlement, and individual damages in a child abuse case in Hawaii. He was also lead counsel in the landmark Marco Polo fire case.

Mark S. Davis has consistently been named among Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and Honolulu Magazine’s “A+ Attorneys.” He has served in numerous leadership roles, including President of the Consumer Lawyers of Hawaii and Governor for the American Association for Justice.
