As the founder of The Law Office of Joshua Moskovitz, P.C., he has successfully handled complex federal and state civil rights cases, employment litigation, and appellate matters. His work has led to systemic reforms and significant legal victories, including representing the Estate of Eric Garner and the Exonerated Five.

Mr. Moskovitz has secured record-breaking settlements, including the highest known per-person recovery in a mass arrest lawsuit for demonstrators protesting the murder of George Floyd. Joshua S. Moskovitz, Esq. earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.), summa cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. At Cardozo, he served as an Articles Editor on the Cardozo Law Review, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and received the Felix Frankfurter Award, the law school’s highest graduation honor. He was also a Public Service Scholar. After law school, from 2010 to 2012, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable James L. Dennis on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
