Mark R. Farrow is an Attorney at Law with decades of experience handling family law matters in Illinois. He has practiced in Naperville since 1991 and focuses on divorce and related domestic relations matters. Mark earned his B.A. from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, where he graduated summa cum laude. His major was Political Science. During his undergraduate studies, he received the Northern Illinois University Orville Baker Award for Excellence in Writing. He later completed his Juris Doctor in 1989 at the University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign, Illinois. While in law school, he was a Member National Moot Court Team and received the Rickert Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy.
Mark was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1990 and to the U.S. District Court Northern District of Illinois in 1992. After law school, he served as Law Clerk to Appellate Court Justice Carl A. Lund from 1989 to 1991. This early experience strengthened his skills in legal research, writing, and appellate procedure.
Mark concentrates his practice on divorce, complex asset divorce, prenuptial agreements, parenting issues, mediation/low-conflict divorce, and orders of protection. He is certified to serve as a Court Appointed Child Representative and is a Certified Arbitrator, DuPage Circuit Court. Clients value his careful preparation, clear communication, and steady perspective during difficult cases.
Mark is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and Will County Bar Association. He has also served as Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and as President of the Pheasant Glen Homeowners Association.
