Donald M. Phelan is an Attorney at Law with decades of experience in family law and divorce matters. His background includes more than two decades as a partner at a Naperville/Joliet law firm before continuing his practice in Naperville.

Donald earned his B.S., Bachelor of Science, from Northern Illinois University, College of Business. He then completed his Juris Doctor at DePaul University College of Law, Chicago, Illinois. After finishing law school, he was admitted to the Illinois State Supreme Court and the United States District Court For The Northern Illinois District Of Illinois.

Donald has successfully handled hundreds of divorce cases, resolving matters through negotiated settlements as well as favorable trial decisions. His work has included disputes involving custody, support, and property division. He approaches each case with careful analysis and a focus on practical outcomes that serve his client’s best interests.
