As a former electronics design engineer, he understands the technologies his clients develop and tailors IP solutions that work in the real world.
Mark earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. This combination of strong technical training and top-tier legal education equips him to tackle complex issues in electronic, computer, and electro-mechanical technologies.
Earlier in his legal career, Mark spent 30 years as a litigator, trying numerous cases and arguing appeals in both state and federal courts. This courtroom experience helps him anticipate challenges and craft strong, enforceable IP strategies for his clients. He has managed significant patent and trademark portfolios for companies with major domestic and international operations, guiding them through ever-changing IP landscapes.
