Mark G. Alexander is a distinguished civil trial lawyer with four decades of continuous private practice in Florida. As Partner Emeritus at Alexander DeGance Barnett, Mark represents employers and organizations in various civil litigation matters, including employment disputes, employee defections, student claims, and business-related disputes.

His extensive trial experience encompasses jury and non-jury cases in state and federal courts, showcasing his proficiency and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.

Mark is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Civil Trial Law—a credential that reflects his advanced expertise, proven trial skills, and high ethical standards. Prior to co-founding Alexander DeGance Barnett in 2010, Mark spent 21 years at Holland & Knight, where he advanced from associate to partner and ultimately served as the National Practice Group Leader for the National Labor, Employment, and Benefits practice. In this leadership role, he managed approximately 45 lawyers and paralegals across 12 offices nationwide, demonstrating his capability in overseeing large-scale legal operations and mentoring legal professionals.

Mark’s educational background includes a J.D from the University of Florida College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Catawba College.
