Amy G. White

Amy G. White is an Idaho education and employment lawyer at Anderson, Julian & Hull, LLP who advises schools, employers, public agencies, and other organizations on litigation and workplace matters. She also handles governmental entity defense, civil rights defense, personal injury litigation, complex commercial disputes, professional liability, products liability, health care law, and commercial transactions. She represents employers before the Idaho Human Rights Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. She is admitted to practice in Idaho and Pennsylvania, the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, and the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Amy began her legal career in Idaho as a clerk for Gerald F. Schroeder when he joined the Idaho Supreme Court. She also clerked for Judge Thomas F. Neville before entering private practice. She works closely with school administrators and board members on collective bargaining, student discipline, employee matters, investigations, due process hearings, funding, policies, and charter school documentation. She also counsels employers on hiring, benefits, unemployment claims, discipline, termination, and workplace practices.

Amy G. White contributes to and edits The Law of Education in Idaho, and she writes for resources used by school boards and administrators. She co-sponsors the Education Law Institute and presents to attorneys, trustees, teachers, administrators, employers, and governmental entities. She has also addressed Idaho legislative committees about proposed laws affecting public and charter schools.
