Mark D. Samson

Mark D. Samson is a senior attorney at Keller Rohrback P.L.C. in Phoenix, Arizona, with over 35 years of experience in tort law. A licensed veterinarian and accomplished trial lawyer, Mark brings a unique medical science background to his legal practice, allowing him to effectively litigate complex medical negligence, personal injury, and product liability cases.

Mr. Samson earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Arizona State University College of Law in 1986 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He also holds a B.S. in Bio-Agricultural Sciences from Arizona State University (summa cum laude, 1976), a D.V.M. from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine (summa cum laude, 1980), and an M.S. in Veterinary Anatomy from the same institution (1983).

Mr. Samson has achieved landmark results in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, including one of Arizona’s largest verdicts in a transfusion-related AIDS case. He also led the successful Edwards verdict, a significant case in Arizona tort law. His scientific background gives him a distinct advantage in evaluating complex medical evidence and expert testimony, enhancing outcomes for plaintiffs.

Before co-founding Keller Rohrback’s Phoenix office in 2002, Mr. Samson was a partner at the respected law firm Dalton Gotto Samson & Kilgard, P.L.C. He previously practiced at the leading Phoenix firm Meyer, Hendricks, Victor, Osborn & Maledon, where he became a member in 1992.

Mr. Samson has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America® for Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Product Liability – Plaintiffs (2022–2025) and was selected to Super Lawyers Southwest from 2008 to 2021.
