Mark Arend brings decades of disciplined leadership and strategic thinking to the practice of family law. His background includes service as a United States Air Force fighter pilot and later work as a high-tech business executive. Those experiences shaped a calm, structured approach to resolving emotionally complex legal disputes for individuals and families.
Mark built his legal foundation through rigorous academic training. He earned a B.A. from the University of Washington. He later completed a J.D. at Seattle University School of Law. His education also includes Graduate, Trial Skills, National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and Certified Mediator, King County Dispute Resolution Center, strengthening both litigation and dispute resolution skills.
Mark focuses his practice on family law matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, mediation, arbitration, relocation, domestic violence, and LGBT Family Law. He emphasizes careful listening, clear communication, and realistic planning. Clients benefit from strategies designed to reduce conflict while protecting legal rights and long-term stability.
