Marcy E. Walker

Marcy E. Walker is a partner at Hunter, Smith & Davis, LLP, where she has practiced law since joining the firm in 2015. She focuses on corporate transactions, real estate, and banking law. Over the past few years, Marcy has also played a key role in developing a successful real estate litigation practice within the firm. Her legal expertise helps businesses and individuals navigate complex transactions and disputes efficiently.

Marcy earned her J.D. from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee, graduating in 2015. Before law school, she completed a B.A. at Mercer University in 1978. These degrees provided her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the legal field.

Marcy has made significant contributions to her community and profession throughout her career. She is admitted to practice law in Tennessee, North Carolina, and before the Tennessee Supreme Court. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Kingsport Bar Association. She has also served on various boards and commissions, including the Johnson City Board of Education and the Johnson City Commission, showing her commitment to public service.

Marcy E. Walker has supported many local organizations in addition to her legal work. She chaired a major campaign to build Niswonger Children’s Hospital and has served on boards such as the American Red Cross and Second Harvest Food Bank.
