Madison Reddick Smyser is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where she prosecutes federal crimes with precision and integrity. Since joining the office in 2021, she has handled high-stakes investigations and courtroom proceedings, upholding the law in one of the most dynamic legal jurisdictions in the country.
Madison earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 2019, complementing her legal education with a Certificate of Completion (CORe) from Harvard Business School Online. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with minors in Philosophy, History, and Business, and graduating with academic distinction.
Madison launched her legal career with two highly competitive federal clerkships: first at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, then at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. These elite positions gave her deep, hands-on experience with federal court practice and significantly strengthened her legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
