Lychelle Chisolm

Lychelle Chisolm is an immigration attorney with Valverde Law PLLC, where she represents clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Department of State, immigration courts, and local juvenile and circuit courts. She focuses her practice on family and fiancé petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, naturalization, family unity waivers, Violence Against Women Act petitions, special immigrant juvenile status, and select employment-based visas.

Lychelle earned her Juris Doctor after a distinguished career in the U.S. Army. Before entering the legal profession, she served as a Communications Officer, holding leadership roles that included Executive Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Company Commander, with responsibility for more than 200 soldiers and civilians.

Lychelle’s military service took her across the globe to Afghanistan, Egypt, Germany, Israel, Kuwait, the Republic of Korea, and the Philippines, where she gained invaluable experience in international operations and leadership. She retired in 2015 after supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the Egyptian-Israeli Treaty of Peace.

Drawing on her personal background—immigrating from the Philippines as a child—and her global military service, Lychelle brings unique perspective and empathy to her work as an attorney. She understands the challenges immigrants face and works diligently to guide clients through each step of their immigration journey.
