Lorraine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2001. She later earned a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2005. Lorraine began her legal career as an Equal Justice Works fellow, providing representation and educational resources to participants in the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
