Lori G. Cohen is Vice Chair of Greenberg Traurig and Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Litigation and Trial Practice Groups. A leading lawsuits and disputes lawyer, she focuses on high-stakes complex litigation, particularly in pharmaceutical, medical device, health care, and product liability defense across national and international jurisdictions.
Lori earned her J.D. with distinction from Emory University School of Law and holds a B.A. cum laude from Duke University. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and numerous federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals. She is Board Certified in Complex Litigation by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
With a trial record of 58 defense verdicts, Lori is frequently retained for high-profile class actions, multidistrict litigation, and catastrophic injury cases. She is often brought in just before trial to lead challenging cases in demanding jurisdictions and is known for courtroom strategies that simplify complex scientific evidence for juries.
