Lisa Ramirez

Lisa Ramirez is a leading immigration attorney and certified Immigration and Nationality Law Specialist by the California State Bar. Based in Orange County, she is recognized as one of the first women and first Spanish-speaking specialists in the region. Her legal practice is focused on helping clients with immigration-related matters such as DHS I-9 audits, visa processing for professionals and creatives, family-based petitions, waivers, naturalization, and deportation defense.

Lisa earned her B.A. from Scripps College in Claremont, CA, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Lisa’s legal career began with Catholic Charities of Orange County as Director of Legal Services and Advocacy. She later contributed her expertise to the Public Law Center, where she developed its immigration services program. Before co-founding U.S. Immigration Law Group, LLP, she ran a successful solo practice dedicated to comprehensive immigration services.

Throughout her career, Lisa has stayed deeply committed to public service and immigrant rights. She has provided pro bono legal representation to vulnerable immigrant communities, helping reunite families and supporting individuals seeking a safer, more stable future in the United States. Lisa is a dedicated advocate through the Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County—where she previously served as president—and she currently serves on the Hispanic Advisory Commission for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. She also sits on the board of the Orange County Justice Fund, a nonprofit that helps detained immigrants who cannot afford legal bond access the support and resources they need.

Through her dedication, she helps immigrants contribute to American society while building better lives for themselves and their families.
