Lisa Ramirez

Lisa Ramirez is a leading immigration attorney and certified Immigration and Nationality Law Specialist by the California State Bar. Based in Orange County, she is recognized as one of the first women and first Spanish-speaking specialists in the region. Her legal practice is focused on helping clients with immigration-related matters such as DHS I-9 audits, visa processing for professionals and creatives, family-based petitions, waivers, naturalization, and deportation defense.

Lisa earned her B.A. from Scripps College in Claremont, CA, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Lisa’s legal career began with Catholic Charities of Orange County as Director of Legal Services and Advocacy. She later contributed her expertise to the Public Law Center, where she developed its immigration services program. Before co-founding U.S. Immigration Law Group, LLP, she ran a successful solo practice dedicated to comprehensive immigration services.

Throughout her career, Lisa has remained committed to public service. She has provided pro bono legal support to vulnerable immigrant communities, working to reunite families and empower individuals seeking a better future. She is actively involved in advocacy through the Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County (where she served as president), and serves on the Hispanic Advisory Commission for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. She is also a board member of the Orange County Justice Fund, which supports detained immigrants unable to afford legal bond.

Lisa Ramirez’s fluency in Spanish and extensive travel throughout Latin America and Europe reflect her deep cultural understanding. Lisa’s work is not just legal—it’s deeply personal and impactful. Through her dedication, she helps immigrants contribute to American society while building better lives for themselves and their families.
