About

Lisa Moore is a leading entertainment and intellectual property lawyer with decades of experience representing clients in the creative industries. She has advised musicians, authors, publishers, artists, performers, and major companies on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, licensing, copyright, trademark, and First Amendment matters. Her practice is devoted to protecting the rights of creators while navigating the complex challenges of modern media and entertainment law.

Moore earned her B.A. in History and Political Science with Honors and Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa. She later received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. These academic accomplishments prepared her for a distinguished legal career, where she has become known for her sharp advocacy and deep knowledge of intellectual property and entertainment law.

In addition to her legal practice, Moore has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, and Emory University. She has lectured nationally on topics such as copyright, music, film, literary publishing, art law, and new media. She has authored numerous articles and co-authored Art Law in Georgia: A Guide for Artists and Arts Organizations. She also served as Editor of Volume 5 (New Technology) of Entertainment Industry Contracts.

Lisa Moore’s work has earned her wide recognition for professional excellence and community service. She was honored with the Young Attorney of the Year Award by the ABA’s Business Law Section for her nonprofit work on behalf of artists and arts organizations. A Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia and a Master of the Bench in the Atlanta IP Inn of Court, Moore continues to lead with dedication and distinction.
