Her work includes guardianships, special needs planning, tax planning, and estate administration. Lisa earned her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she completed concentrations in Estate Planning and Tax Planning, both with honors. During her studies, she participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and worked with the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. These experiences strengthened her skills in tax and client service, laying the foundation for her later work in estate planning and elder law.
Lisa has built a strong reputation throughout her career for delivering clear, practical guidance on complex matters. Before joining Compson & Pimpinella, PLLC, in 2011, she practiced in New York City, where she presented and contributed to the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Special Needs section. Her contributions helped educate both professionals and the public on critical topics affecting aging individuals, families with special-needs dependents, and those facing long-term care decisions. She continues to apply this experience to help clients understand their options and make informed choices about their estates.
