Lisa M. Heintz is a dedicated estate planning and elder law attorney at Compson & Pimpinella, PLLC. Since beginning her legal career in 2005, she has focused on helping individuals and families plan for long-term care, preserve assets, and navigate complex legal needs. Her work includes guardianships, special needs planning, tax planning, and estate administration. Lisa earned her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she completed concentrations in Estate Planning and Tax Planning, both with honors. During her studies, she participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program and worked with the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. These experiences strengthened her skills in tax and client service, laying the foundation for her later work in estate planning and elder law.

Before joining Compson & Pimpinella, PLLC, in 2011, she practiced in New York City, where she presented and contributed to the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Special Needs section. She continues to apply this experience to help clients understand their options and make informed choices about their estates.
