Lisa Lombardo

Lisa Lombardo is a highly accomplished attorney with extensive experience in business and commercial litigation. She has successfully represented clients in complex legal disputes before state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Lisa focuses on construction litigation, handling cases involving contract disputes, construction defects, insurance claims, and multi-party construction matters. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, giving her a well-rounded perspective in legal advocacy.

Lisa earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Montclair State University, where she was part of the University Honors Program. She later obtained her J.D., summa cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law – Newark. During law school, she was a Teaching Associate in Legal Research and Writing and was inducted into the prestigious Order of the Coif for academic excellence.

Lisa is a leading construction and business litigation attorney known for delivering results in high-stakes disputes. She represents major corporations, top universities, national retailers, and construction and design professionals. As co-lead counsel in a complex three-year construction arbitration, she helped secure a multimillion-dollar award for a university confronting serious design and construction defects.

Lisa Lombardo’s legal practice includes handling restrictive covenants, contract negotiations, surety claims, construction liens, and condominium liability matters. She also assists clients in drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts for large-scale projects, including healthcare facilities, academic centers, and office buildings.
