Lisa D’Alesio

Lisa D’Alesio has built her legal career on guiding individuals and families through difficult transitions with professionalism and compassion. Over the years, she has handled a wide range of family law matters, as well as cases involving bankruptcy and social security law. Lisa first earned her B.S.B.A. in Marketing, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Missouri–Columbia. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 1995. Licensed in Missouri since the same year, she has also obtained certifications in Mediation and Collaborative Law, strengthening her ability to resolve conflicts constructively.

Lisa’s career has included diverse roles, from private practice in Southwest Missouri to serving as a judicial law clerk at the Missouri Court of Appeals in the Southern District. These experiences provided her with insight into both trial practice and appellate review, enhancing her ability to evaluate cases thoroughly and strategically on behalf of her clients.

Lisa approaches family law with a focus on constructive resolution rather than reactionary litigation. She encourages clients to respond thoughtfully to difficult circumstances, fostering healthier communication and cooperation between parties, particularly where children are involved.
