Liam Duffy is recognized as a relentless trial lawyer who has secured more than $110 million in verdicts and settlements for clients in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. His work consistently delivers justice for individuals and families harmed by negligent conduct, and he has successfully taken on some of the world’s most powerful corporations.

Liam earned his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston before receiving his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Charleston School of Law. His academic distinction reflected early commitment and discipline, which carried over into his legal career. He was active in law review, an experience that sharpened his skills in research, writing, and analysis, preparing him for high-stakes litigation.

Liam has handled complex matters involving workplace safety, trucking collisions, defective products, power line electrocutions, and dram shop liability. His recent results include a $21 million jury verdict against Dominion Energy for wrongful death, a $16 million settlement against a national daycare chain following the death of an infant, and $15.75 million for a worker who suffered a spinal cord injury on an unsafe worksite. He also obtained $9.75 million for a client injured in a catastrophic drunk driving crash.
