Lewis P. Reece

Lewis P. Reece is a shareholder at Snow Jensen & Reece, P.C. in St. George, Utah. He represents individuals and businesses in real estate, construction, commercial, and other civil disputes. Lewis earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1990 and a B.A. in English, with a minor in chemistry, from Brigham Young University in 1987. During law school, he participated in the BYU Moot Court program and won first place in the Samuel Polsky Moot Court Competition. He also received the highest grade in Commercial Law II, which included a study of the Uniform Commercial Code.

Lewis has handled a broad range of trial and appellate matters affecting landowners, developers, businesses, financial institutions, public entities, and individuals. His representative cases include disputes involving easements, development rights, construction obligations, lending relationships, commercial claims, water interests, and property ownership. He has appeared in numerous reported Utah appellate decisions, helping clients protect contractual and real estate interests through careful preparation, persuasive advocacy, and a clear understanding of the available procedural options.

Lewis P. Reece has served on the Utah State Bar’s Modest Means Committee and as a counselor in the Scott M. Matheson Sr. American Inn of Court. He received a Pro Bono Award from the Southern Utah Legal Clinic and has presented programs on Utah easements and noncompete agreements. His work reflects a commitment to client communication, practical problem solving, and responsible advocacy in real estate and commercial disputes throughout Southern Utah.
