Leslie A. Allen

Leslie A. Allen is a partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Cincinnati, where she plays a lead role in the firm’s nationally recognized Vorys eControl team. Her practice centers on helping brands combat unauthorized and illegal online sellers, protect intellectual property, and dismantle diversion schemes across U.S. and global marketplaces.

Leslie earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2012, where she served as both a comment editor and a staff member of the Dayton Law Review. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University, which she completed in 2003. Her academic and editorial experience laid the foundation for a detail-oriented and investigative legal approach.

Before joining Vorys, Leslie served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and as a judicial law clerk with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges. These roles sharpened her analytical abilities and deepened her understanding of federal regulatory and appellate processes.

At Vorys, Leslie leads in-house investigations and high-volume enforcement teams. She works closely with clients in both direct-to-consumer and retail sectors, identifying unauthorized sellers and executing strategic enforcement actions. Her work regularly involves unraveling multi-layered domestic and international diversion operations.

In addition to her legal practice, Leslie contributes thought leadership to the Marketplace Solutions blog and speaks at industry events, helping companies navigate the complexities of online brand protection.
