Lawrence A. Moskowitz

Lawrence A. Moskowitz is a seasoned family law attorney recognized for his deep legal knowledge and dedication to client advocacy. Admitted to the California State Bar in 1977, he has practiced family law in Sonoma County since 1984. With a reputation for integrity and excellence, Lawrence holds an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating, reflecting the highest standards of legal ability and professional ethics.

Lawrence earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1974, and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 1977. His education established the foundation for a distinguished career devoted to family law. As a certified Specialist in Family Law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, he combines academic excellence with decades of hands-on legal experience to serve clients with precision and compassion.

Before establishing his practice in Santa Rosa, Lawrence worked with Matthew Bender and California Family Law Report, Inc., gaining significant experience in legal publishing and analysis. He has since taught community property and family law at Empire College School of Law and a family law tax course at Golden Gate University School of Tax. His extensive teaching and lecturing history includes presentations for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, California Bar Family Law Section, and other professional organizations.

A Fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Lawrence A. Moskowitz has long been a leader in his field. He has served as President of the AAML Foundation and as a judge pro tem in family law trials.
