Lauren Weisman Stein

Lauren Weisman Stein is a corporate attorney who advises businesses on mergers and acquisitions, private placement fundraising, and complex commercial transactions. She works closely with startup, growth-stage, and middle market companies across industries such as technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and distribution. He is known for providing practical guidance that supports long-term business success.

Lauren earned her B.A. in English Literature in 2014 from Flagler College before pursuing her legal education. She received her J.D., 2017 from William & Mary. Admitted to practice in Florida, 2017, she built her practice on a strong academic foundation and a clear understanding of both legal and business principles.

Lauren regularly represents clients in significant transactions. Her experience includes representing a clinical research company in an $85M sale to private equity and a golf cart manufacturer in a $25M sale. She has advised management teams in buyouts and guided companies through private placement fundraising, including a $15M equity raise for a minor league hockey team and a $9M Series A financing for a fintech company.

Lauren also drafts and negotiates complex technology agreements, including multimillion-dollar software development, hosting, and maintenance contracts. In her role as outsourced general counsel, she assists clients with investor relations, workforce onboarding, regulatory compliance, dispute management, and strategic growth planning. She helps streamline sales processes by creating modular contract templates and implementing automation tools.
