Lauren Edwards

Lauren Edwards is a co-founder and CEO of Gomez Edwards Law Group in Santa Clara County, California. Her practice includes family law and estate planning, with a focus on divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence issues, mediation, wills, and living trusts. She assists clients navigating changes in family relationships and planning for the future management of their assets. Her work connects family-related legal questions with practical financial and personal planning needs.

Edwards earned an associate degree from Cabrillo College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Jose State University. She later received a law degree from Baylor University in 2013, with a concentration in trial advocacy. During law school, she interned at the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office and Travis County Attorney’s Office, gaining experience with prosecutorial work involving offenses against children and alcohol- or substance-related traffic matters.

Edwards returned to the Bay Area after graduation and worked in local estate planning and family law practices. In 2016, she and Natalie Gomez founded Gomez Edwards Law Group to provide family law and estate planning services. She was admitted to the California bar in 2014. Her work encompasses matters involving divorce agreements, parenting arrangements, financial support, and estate planning documents designed to address future needs.

Lauren Edwards participates in professional associations including the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the Silicon Valley Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
