Laura Day DelCotto

Laura Day DelCotto has vast experience in bankruptcy and debtor-creditor issues. She earned her J.D. with distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Law. There, she won the Colvin Rouse Best Note Award and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Before law school, she earned a B.S. at the University of the South (Sewanee), graduating magna cum laude. She was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Gownsmen.

DelCotto is the founding member of DelCotto Law Group. His practice focuses on Chapter 11 commercial bankruptcy. It also includes related state court and out-of-court negotiations, workouts, and litigation. She has a vast background. It includes representing debtors-in-possession, distressed borrowers, and lenders. She has worked with committees, trustees, DIP lenders, lessors, and asset purchasers.
