Lance Sharp

Lance Sharp is a veteran personal injury attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in civil litigation. He is known for representing individuals across Texas with a strong focus on serious injury cases and auto accidents. His work reflects dedication to clients and consistent legal advocacy.

Lance earned a B.S. from Creighton University and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. He was also involved in Law Review and was a Moot Court Finalist. His education provided a strong legal foundation and prepared him for a career in trial advocacy.

Lance began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Hays County and later served as an Assistant Texas Attorney General in the Tort Division. In 1993, he opened his own practice focused on personal injury law, building a strong reputation in litigation.

In 1997, Lance partnered with Laura Sharp to form The Sharp Firm. Since then, he has continued representing clients in complex injury cases. His approach focuses on careful preparation, clear strategy, and working toward strong outcomes for those he represents.

Lance is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization recognizing trial skill and professionalism.

Lance has been active in professional organizations, including the Austin Bar Association and Texas Bar Association, where he has served in leadership roles. He is also involved with trial lawyer associations and legal foundations, reflecting his commitment to the profession.
