Cristina García-Chappell

Cristina García-Chappell is a Texas attorney and founder of García Injury Law. She represents clients in personal injury matters with a focus on compassion, integrity, and strong advocacy. Her work is shaped by a lifelong commitment to service and helping individuals navigate difficult legal situations with confidence.

Cristina earned her Juris Doctor degree from Universidad Iest/Anahuac in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, in 2006. Her education provided a strong legal foundation and prepared her for a diverse career, including roles in government service and private practice across international and domestic legal settings.

Cristina began her career with the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, working at the Mexican Consulate in Austin. She later served as a diplomat in Beijing, China, where she was Chief of Staff to the Ambassador and Press Attaché during the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Cristina discovered her passion for personal injury law in 2009. She worked at a law firm in Austin, where she handled cases from intake to settlement. Her hands-on experience gave her a full understanding of the legal process and strengthened her ability to support clients at every stage.

Cristina has more than 15 years of experience helping clients through personal injury claims. She uses her knowledge of both civil and common law systems to develop strong legal strategies and advocate for fair compensation in challenging cases involving injury and loss.

Cristina was honored in 2024 with the ‘Mexicana Distinguida en el Exterior’ award for her contributions to the Hispanic community. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association and provides ongoing pro bono legal services to underserved communities.
