Lacey D. Yegen is a partner who focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. She helps individuals and families prepare for the future, protect their assets, and address important decisions involving their estates. Her work includes guiding clients through the planning process and assisting families with the legal responsibilities that arise after the death of a loved one.

Lacey earned a B.A. in Politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She later received her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. Her education provided a strong foundation in legal analysis, communication, and practical problem-solving. This training supports her ability to explain complex estate matters clearly and help clients make informed decisions based on their needs and long-term goals.

Lacey began her legal career as a staff attorney with the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky in Prestonsburg. In that role, she represented clients in family law, consumer, and housing matters. Her early experience working with individuals facing difficult legal and financial concerns strengthened her ability to approach sensitive matters with care. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and Kentucky.

Lacey D. Yegen has also served the legal profession and her community through leadership and board positions. While practicing in Kentucky, she was elected president of the Floyd County Bar Association. She also served on the boards of the David School and Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter. Her background in public-interest representation, community leadership, and estate law allows her to provide practical guidance to clients navigating estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
