About
Dallin R. Groneman is an estate planning attorney at Groneman Law Firm, PLLC in Syracuse, Utah. He helps individuals and families prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, prenuptial agreements, and other documents designed to protect assets and carry out personal wishes. His practice also includes informal probate, where he assists families in appointing personal representatives, managing estate property, addressing creditor claims, and distributing assets in accordance with Utah law.
Dallin earned a Bachelor of Science from Weber State University and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. His legal education provided a foundation in careful analysis, legal research, and practical problem solving. That training supports his ability to evaluate each client’s family, financial, and business circumstances and develop estate planning strategies suited to their needs, whether the matter involves a basic will, a revocable trust, or a more complex asset protection plan.
Before focusing on estate planning, Dallin practiced family law and spent several years as a criminal prosecutor, primarily with the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office. He was responsible for screening and prosecuting cases involving abuse and financial exploitation of vulnerable adults and elderly individuals. This experience strengthened his ability to assess sensitive facts, protect people facing difficult circumstances, and approach legal matters with preparation, sound judgment, and close attention to potential risks.
Dallin R. Groneman is committed to serving clients and the Davis County community. He serves as President of the West Davis Chamber of Commerce, mentors new lawyers and law students, and is a board member of the Heritage Museum of Layton. He is also fluent in Portuguese and can assist clients who prefer to communicate in that language. Through focused estate planning and probate guidance, Dallin helps clients protect their legacies and prepare for important life and family decisions.
