L. Sheryl Adams

L. Sheryl Adams, Esq., serves as a Senior Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC, representing clients in Wichita, Kansas, and surrounding areas. She focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, spousal and child support, property division, and guardianship. Adams earned her J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Texas. Adams also served as an Associate Judge for the Collin County Probate Court beginning in 2011. In that role, she presided over mental health commitment hearings, competency proceedings, and other probate-related cases. She frequently collaborated with hospital staff and law enforcement to ensure appropriate procedures were followed, while also educating community groups about the mental health legal system. Her judicial and professional background enhances her ability to handle complex and sensitive legal matters with skill and care.
