Kyle Amell is a Director and Managing Partner at Wescott Law. He joined the firm in January 2021 and was named to this leadership role in January 2026. His practice includes civil litigation, criminal defense, motor vehicle violations, landlord-tenant law, and land use, planning, zoning, and development matters statewide.

Kyle earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School, graduating cum laude. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from St. Lawrence University in 2013, with a minor in Economics. These degrees support his work in litigation, criminal defense, property matters, and practical legal problem solving for clients.

Kyle built a strong base in trial work while serving as a student attorney in the Boston College Defenders and Civil Litigation clinics. He also completed internships with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the National Environmental Law Center, gaining practical experience in public service and legal advocacy on behalf of clients.

Kyle worked as a paralegal for a Boston-area county prosecutor’s office and as in-house counsel for a major energy firm before law school. He also clerked at Wescott Law during his final year of law school, giving him early experience with the firm’s clients, legal work, and office practices.

Kyle is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and is an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He provides comprehensive legal services while keeping a focus on civil litigation, criminal defense, landlord-tenant matters, and land use issues for clients who need clear guidance and steady representation in disputes.
