About
Kathrine Lacey is a Director and Co-Managing Partner at Wescott Law. She first joined the firm as a legal intern in 2013 and became a firm leader in January 2019. Her practice includes family law, civil litigation, criminal defense and motor vehicle violations, labor and employment, and municipal law.
Kathrine earned her law degree from University of New Hampshire School of Law, now University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, in 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree from Bay Path College in 2011. This education supports her broad legal practice and her careful work with clients and courts.
Kathrine built early legal experience as a paralegal with Marien & Hodge, PC in Springfield, Massachusetts. She also completed internships in the Laconia and Franklin City Prosecutor’s Offices. These roles gave her practical insight into litigation, criminal matters, client needs, and the daily work of legal offices and courts.
Kathrine maintains a general practice, with a main focus on family law and divorce. She uses a collaborative approach when it fits the needs of the case. She also handles general litigation and criminal matters, helping clients understand the process and make informed choices during difficult legal situations and disputes.
Kathrine attended the June 2014 Collaborative Law-New Hampshire training. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Central New Hampshire and Collaborative Divorce New Hampshire. Through these roles, she supports the Lakes Region community while continuing to grow her professional service and legal work.
Kathrine Lacey works to protect her clients’ best interests during challenging personal times. She aims to preserve the integrity of the process while guiding clients through the law as it applies to their matters.
