Kristin Grant

Kristin Grant is the founder of Grant Attorneys at Law PLLC, where she provides comprehensive legal counsel on the acquisition, protection, enforcement, and monetization of intellectual property rights. With extensive experience in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law, Ms. Grant assists individuals and businesses across various industries in safeguarding and leveraging their intellectual property assets.

Ms. Grant earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she later served as an adjunct professor, teaching the USPTO Trademark Clinic. She also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Wales and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Howard University. As a Registered Patent Attorney, she is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Federal Circuit.

Before launching her own firm, Ms. Grant built deep patent law experience as a patent consultant at AltSchool, Inc., partnering closely with software engineering teams at every stage of the patent lifecycle. Her work included conducting prior art searches, drafting and filing patent applications, and preparing responses to office actions. She also expanded her intellectual property expertise at Ladas & Parry LLP and The Law Firm of Spektor & Tsirkin P.C., managing a wide range of intellectual property matters, including IP licensing and intellectual property litigation.

Ms. Grant’s practice areas encompass trademark counseling, prosecution, litigation, domain disputes, and copyright and patent-related services. She advises clients on trade secrets, IP license agreements, contracts, and entity formation. In addition to her practice, Ms. Grant serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Law School Alumni Association.
