Kristin Bateman

Kristin E. Bateman is a litigation associate who focuses on civil defense matters at both the trial and appellate levels. Her work includes general liability, commercial disputes, product and premises liability, personal injury claims, and class action lawsuits. Kristin Bateman earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. She also holds a Master of Music, summa cum laude, in Flute Performance from the University of Arizona. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in English and a Bachelor of Music, magna cum laude, in Flute Performance from St. Olaf College. During law school, she received a Presidential Law Scholarship and served as a Lead Article Editor.

After completing her legal education, Kristin clerked for Chief Judge Brad Maxa of the Washington State Court of Appeals. This role strengthened her understanding of appellate law and judicial reasoning. She then worked in private practice, where she handled a variety of civil defense matters.
