Kristen A. Friedel

Kristen A. Friedel is an experienced attorney with a strong background in prosecution, complex litigation, and appellate advocacy. She brings a disciplined, thoughtful approach to every matter, shaped by years of courtroom experience and a commitment to providing effective, client-focused legal representation.

Kristen graduated magna cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2015. Following law school, she began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, where she served for four years, prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases.

Kristen’s strong advocacy and leadership skills led to her promotion to Deputy Supervisor in the Taunton District Court. In that role, Kristen oversaw fellow prosecutors, managed high-volume trial dockets, and handled serious criminal matters, further developing her litigation and courtroom management experience.

After her prosecutorial work, Kristen joined the Massachusetts Department of Corrections’ Sexually Dangerous Person Unit. There, she handled complex litigation involving civil commitment proceedings and public safety issues, requiring detailed legal analysis and strategic advocacy.

Kristen later transitioned to private practice, spending approximately five years representing clients in Massachusetts Superior and District Courts, as well as before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Her work included criminal defense and appellate advocacy, allowing her to guide cases from trial through appeal.

In addition to criminal and appellate matters, Kristen A. Friedel represents clients in immigration cases, including removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals. She is known for compassionate, thorough, and effective representation in every case she handles.
