Kierstan Schultz

Kierstan Schultz is counsel at Nixon Peabody in Manchester and a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Disputes practice and NP Trial team. She represents healthcare providers, academic institutions, businesses, and individuals in civil litigation, administrative appeals, alternative dispute resolution, discovery, motion practice, and trials. Her work includes healthcare disputes, regulatory and compliance matters, consumer privacy issues, and complex commercial conflicts in state and federal forums.

Schultz earned a JD from Cornell Law School and a BA, summa cum laude, from George Washington University. She is admitted in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York, as well as several federal courts, including the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Her academic and licensing background supports a multi-jurisdictional litigation practice involving commercial disputes, healthcare regulation, privacy issues, professional discipline, and administrative proceedings.

Schultz advises hospitals, rehabilitation and long-term care providers, digital health entities, practice groups, and individual practitioners on disputes involving HIPAA, fraud and abuse laws, professional liability, licensing, billing, and reimbursement. She also represents financial institutions, companies, and individuals in contract, fiduciary duty, insurance coverage, and unfair trade practice disputes. Her work includes jury and bench trials, settlement negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, and social impact litigation involving older adults and people with disabilities.
