Kevin C. Adam is a litigation partner at White & Case, based in the firm’s Boston and New York offices. A key member of the Global Antitrust/Competition Group, he focuses on high-stakes antitrust and intellectual property disputes. He has extensive experience representing clients in class actions, competitor lawsuits, and regulatory challenges, particularly in the life sciences, technology, and e-commerce sectors.
Kevin earned his Juris Doctor summa cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Suffolk University Law Review. In addition, Kevin completed advanced coursework at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School, expanding his insight into global business and negotiation.
Kevin represents global innovators in complex matters involving pricing practices, collaboration agreements, and regulatory strategy. He has achieved favorable outcomes in product-hopping cases, reverse-payment challenges, and “killer acquisition” claims. His litigation victories include defeating class certification for over 20,000 workers and securing precedent-setting summary judgments in federal court.
Kevin also provides strategic counsel on competition and pricing matters, regulatory investigations, and legislative compliance. His advisory work spans diverse industries, including pharmaceuticals, tech, aviation, healthcare, and education. Kevin has advised clients during high-profile mergers and before congressional inquiries.
Beyond his client work, Kevin maintains a strong commitment to public service. His pro bono efforts focus on wrongful convictions and criminal appeals, and he secured a landmark $27 million jury verdict for a man wrongfully imprisoned for 27 years. He also collaborates with the New England Innocence Project and teaches antitrust as an adjunct professor at Suffolk Law.
