Kerin E. Stackpole

Kerin E. Stackpole, SPHR is a Director at Paul Frank + Collins and leads the firm’s Employment + Labor Law Group. She represents management and advises senior leaders and management teams on workforce planning, hiring, FLSA analysis and classification, performance management, recordkeeping compliance, leave management, employee engagement, and workplace policies. She also develops labor relations strategies and handles union negotiations, grievance proceedings, unfair labor practice disputes, litigation, and resolution.

Kerin earned a B.A., cum laude, in History from Wheaton College and a J.D., cum laude, from Washington College of Law, The American University. In law school, she was a member of the Washington College Law Honor Society, served as Note and Comment Editor of The Administrative Law Journal, and received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers’ Advocacy Award for outstanding courtroom advocacy ability.

Stackpole combines employment counseling with litigation and training. She works with employers on preventive practices designed to strengthen management, documentation, consistency, and employee engagement before disputes arise. She has taught at law schools and colleges and regularly designs training programs for businesses and municipalities. She also speaks at state and regional conferences on management, payroll, human resources, and labor and employment issues affecting workplace decision-makers.

Kerin E. Stackpole is admitted in Vermont and the US District Court for the District of Vermont. She has held leadership roles in employment law and human resources organizations and serves in community and board positions.
