His work includes advising importers on tariff classification, customs valuation, country-of-origin rules, prior disclosures, and other matters before U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Ken also counsels companies on additional duties imposed under Section 301 and Section 232. Representative matters include trade-remedy proceedings involving solar products, steel nails, citric acid, PTFE resins, and other manufactured goods, as well as requests for exclusions from additional steel duties.

Kenneth N. Hammer helps companies navigate trade rules that affect the movement, pricing, and market access of goods entering or leaving the United States. Ken combines regulatory counseling with litigation experience so clients can address customs questions, administrative proceedings, and appeals through a coordinated strategy. His practice supports manufacturers, exporters, and importers managing compliance obligations and commercial risk in a changing international trade environment.
