Kelsey Sullivan is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Boston office, where she represents clients in complex, high-stakes litigation matters. Since joining the firm in 2020, she has supported trial teams across a range of disputes, applying strong analytical skills, meticulous preparation, and a background shaped by investigative and regulatory experience.
Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Northeastern University in 2015. She later received her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 2020, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Boston University Journal of Science & Technology Law and received multiple academic distinctions.
During her legal education, Kelsey gained hands-on experience through Boston University’s Criminal Law Clinic, where she worked directly on client matters and developed courtroom and advocacy skills. She also served as a Student Honors Intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., contributing to regulatory, enforcement, and investigative initiatives.
Prior to attending law school, Kelsey worked as an investigator at the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General. In that role, she conducted investigations involving public integrity, compliance, and governmental oversight. This experience strengthened her ability to analyze complex factual records, assess credibility, and approach legal issues with precision and objectivity.
