Kelly L. Malloy-Pogoda

Kelly L. Malloy-Pogoda focuses on residential and commercial real estate matters in Albany, New York. Her work includes disputes involving property rights and access to land. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont in 1986, graduating magna cum laude. She was also honored as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In one representative case, Kelly obtained an order vacating a default judgment that had stood for six years. The judgment had eliminated a client’s access to Saratoga Lake. The order also allowed a successor in interest to intervene in the continuing litigation. The case illustrates how an earlier court decision can continue to affect access to property and why a careful review of the legal record matters.

Kelly L. Malloy-Pogoda is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Albany County Bar Association, and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association.
