Katya’s educational path began with a scholarship that brought her from Belarus to the U.S. at the age of 19. She completed her undergraduate studies and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Alongside her education, she gained hands-on experience in litigation and corporate law, sharpening her skills across various legal domains.

Before founding her own practice, Katya headed the business immigration division at a global law firm, overseeing complex immigration matters across Philadelphia, Moscow, and Kyiv. She provided strategic legal support to a leading international steel and ferroalloy company, managing global workforce mobility, resolving cross‑border disputes, and advising on high‑value corporate transactions.
