Katherine Mazaheri is a distinguished trial lawyer based in Oklahoma, specializing in a broad spectrum of employment law issues. With her expertise, Katherine represents plaintiff employees through complex litigation in state and federal courts, mediations, and before key administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. Her legal prowess covers cases related to wrongful discharge, sexual harassment and assault, employment discrimination of all types, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes, among others.

Katherine’s commitment to legal excellence has been instrumental in addressing and correcting social injustices, earning her firm, Mazaheri Law Firm, a formidable reputation over the past decade. Her work has led to significant client recoveries and substantial societal impacts.

In addition to her litigation work, Katherine proactively trains and counsels employers on a variety of workplace matters, including hiring practices, discipline, terminations, and the creation and auditing of employment handbooks. Her extensive experience extends to delivering anti-discrimination and anti-harassment training, including specialized sessions for tribal employees and over 400 other workers.

Beyond her legal practice, Katherine founded Maz Modern in 2021, a passion project aimed at inspiring and empowering working women, and launched the “Suited for Social Justice” scholarship. This initiative awards a custom suit and a $5,000 scholarship to new Oklahoma law school graduates committed to social justice.

Katherine holds a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. Her outstanding service and commitment to the legal community have been recognized with multiple honors, including the Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Diversity Award and repeated recognition as a Super Lawyer Rising Star.
